Draft, final version before launch. Last updated October 6, 2026.
Terms, in plain language.
These are the rules for using SyncedUp Therapy. They are a working draft, and a lawyer will review the final version before launch.
The service
SyncedUp Therapy is software that helps licensed therapists set up and run a private practice. It is a business tool. It does not provide clinical, legal, tax or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for your professional judgment.
Your account
- You must be a licensed therapist, or working under one, and at least 18 years old.
- Keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- The information you give us must be accurate.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your clinical decisions, your records, and for following the laws and licensing rules that apply to you. The assistant drafts text from what you type. You must read, edit and approve anything before you sign or send it.
Trial, billing and cancelling
- Plans are billed monthly. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and a card is required.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you chose.
- You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
- Founding member pricing is kept for as long as that subscription stays active.
Your data
You own your records. You can export them, and you can ask us to delete your account. See the privacy page for how we handle information.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, try to break its security, or use it to break the law.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the issue.
